I am writing this online "kitesurfing handbook", with some help from a couple of other kiters, to provide people interested in kitesurfing, along with beginners and intermediates, with a resource to help them get up and going, with an emphasis on safety.
We are also collating a lot of tips that you tend to gather as you learn.

There is also a page with links to other online resources such as Seabreeze.
Feedback and contributions are welcome, either here of via the feedback form available on the handbook.
Save yourself the hard work... IKO and many others have done it all before... there is heaps of stuff you can "borrow" online.. But get people the manual it has everything....
Information seems good mate. Good visual representations and graphics. All I would change is the website itself, it's hard to navigate. Too many links on your mainpage. Then again I'm a web developer so I'll be a bit critical.
Thanks for the feedback.
J inthe bool, we have included a reference to the IKO Handbook. It seems that not many people know about it, or are possibly not prepared to pay for it, particularly if they have not actually started kitesurfing yet. I understand it is given to kiters who do an IKO course, but I have not seen a copy myself. Maybe they would make it available as a free download?
There are lots of people getting into the sport here in Melbourne, and some are coming to grief. We are hoping to spread the word on skills and safety, and the need for instruction, so that we can all keep on kiting at our favourite locations.
deXtrous, the site is running on the Google sites engine so it is quick and easy to edit and maintain. I take your point about the navigation though. We will give some thought to streamlining it.
