I think it's a clear indication of how well behaved 99.9% of kiters are on the GC

Was down in the Alley on Saturday at the top of the tide, man, haven't seen it that big there for a while......

Only three of us and 1 poley out, Yeeeeew!

There was a kiter tossing his kite from side to side north of the Novatel in botany bay about an hour ago, (400mtrs sth of runway) in 10-15knots, on an obsession 10.5. I walked up the beach to tell him the best place was 1st car park (I pointed as you could see a couple of kites) and that it was illegal to kite where he was, I was met with an "I can kite anywhere attitude" and he carried running out of water and being hot launched onto the sand near people (onshore wind) ,

What's the best method to teach someone, rules/ education etc?

Could I have done more?

Or was how I approached the situation the best way to go about it?
