I also think JimBob is just p!55ed that he can't come coz he's stuck in QLD with s#!t wind... my advice is shhhh and give a young local a chance.... I have never met NJPornstar but am sure he is a good guy and deserves a shot at the title... + his kites are great... If you ask nice JimBob he might send a demo kite over to your local kite shop...

What are we all here for? To discuss kitesurfing - last time I checked it's something we do for fun.
These forums are an extension of that. Our goal is that they extend the sport - and add to the fun.
I will think you will find Pornstar has been given a very wide berth because it is a Western Australian company, Steve copped a lot more flak for a lot less pimping.

He is promoting "kites" and this is a "Kitesurfing" forum! Big Deal!!!
A site sponsor pays good money to advertise on this site, and a Demo day is only helping to promote the sport.
Obviously we dont want a forum that contains only advertising, (if that's what we wanted... we could just go out and buy a kiteboarding magazine!) but what's wrong with letting people know about a Demo day?

well Skwinty my friend let me open your eyes to a great Australian tradition called 'Tall Poppy Syndrome' you see what Australians like nothing more than to slap a guy back into place especially if he's doing well... coz well really no body like a show off... Most other countries have the opposite... they get behind their country men with support and love... not down under though... they'd prefer you just blended in... maybe it's because they them selves are a little jealous that it's not their New Kiteboarding idea or maybe it's because they feel like failures and the best way they know who to deal with it is to to try bring that tall poppy back down to their level...

Sad but that's the way it's been down under for a long time and i am sure it aint gonna change in a hurry...

these kites are the bomb ppl, they let u advance so quik coz u got confidence in it and urself. i only had my kite for like 3 weeks and im doin unhooked stuff with no worries coz i dnt care if i drop the kite i kno it will fly again for me, other bonus is i can stay out there for ages coz i dnt get tired. lol make sure u dnt tell the guys to cum in when they get tired coz u wnt get ya kites back haha
I don't think having a demo day is pimping or even advertising, I wish all resellers would do the same. Here is a guy who is standing by his products and you can have a no obligation fly. No hype or long colourful BS reviews, just turn up and have a go.
NKPornstar, great idea only problem is the 15th is the start of the Cray season and I will be off diving. Hopefully I can make it next time.

Here's a rough vid done in Geraldton last winter.
Gav Hirch kindly filmed it.
It basically shows, from another angle how the kites react in the water, what the Neutralizer 5 does and how to easily self land.
The wing tips are nice and wide to catch the wind to launch from a 'U' position.
Works well in 20knots of wind.
