From what I gather, there are going to be the same models as last year, but two versions of the cult. Helix has 5 struts instead of 7, and has only a half bridle

Still looks like it ran into a pole eh? Was wondering if they might change the LE as it didn't seem to catch on around here anyway,

Thanks mate
It was a very good news for me as I can keep my 2008 Helix.
It seems like they didn't change much about it.

I think i prefer the '08 graphics... but i'll wait to see one in the flesh before i make up my mind.
I still reckon the purple ones look freakin hawt with the sun illuminating the sail!

from what I've been reading, the Helix 09 is totally different to the 08. I think they've designed it to attract the alliance users (which may not be released this year).
Also apparently the Thorn comes in two models: Full Carbon and the other is similar to last years

Can't release too much info yet, but most of you will know it all soon. I will be traveling to Perth next Sunday with a quiver of 09 kites and boards.

All I will leave you with now is this. SIGMA has evolved, on a range that was awesome (08), the 09 range has tweaked and directed the models into distinct directions. For 08 the Sigma range was a range of kites that are all awesome with similar characteristics, so you only had to choose what control system you preferred. For 09, this is not the case! Cult has been given even more performance, but somehow is even friendlier. Helix is a totally new kite! All I will say is that SIGMA has gone "C" shaped (for the HELIX only)!!!! SO imagine all the things you love about "C" kites, and give them all the benifits of SIGMA like incredible de-power, super smooth sheeting, consistent turning and sheeting bar pressures and shyt loads of attitude if you dare try! And there is a very cool new Bar feature.

The boards are insane, as mentioned there is 2 Thorns, and the FC (Full Carbon/Wood Core) is the best board I have ridden and is so light. The Wave range is by far the best yet.

But of coarse you all expect me to say this, but it is true, when I can say more I will. But after a change as radical as last years range, this year has stepped up easily as much.

As I said above, I will post more soon!

The reports say their the same old with new colours, wake up Naish and evolve not revolve.
I know what you may all say, sure wait and see,but their going backwards without oversheeting
My 2 cents!

As far as i can tell only 1 person (tautologies)on kiteforum has ridden the 09 kites.
And i don't think you could say his review was negative.
