Hi everyone,

A couple of beaut threads recently got me thinking that it would be awesome to start something for the love and for that good feeling, spreading the love and just plain doing something for no other reason than to make someones day. I propose a free stuff thread.

I'm sure everyone has some old stuff (or newish stuff) they don't want or need in the store room or back shed that could benefit someone else.

Only rules are it has to be free, and if you are the recipient of the free goods, then you have to then also, in turn, give something away on this thread. You cannot profit from scoring free stuff ie, you cannot sell it onwards. Lastly, if it is stuffed, make sure the description is accurate, no deceiving people!

You do not have to receive free goods to offer free goods, but again, if you are the recipient of a free deal, then you need to give something away too.

Simple ay?

Happy to start with a modest offering of a free harness. Pro Limit Team Wave with quick Disconnect Spreader bar. Size is about Medium to Large.

First to PM takes it home. Can be picked up at the shop!

Happy Free Stuff!

DM

Ric I'd love to take the 12 off your hands if it's not already gone!! Need a light wind kite :)

In return, I have a brand new Ozone thermal rashy in a womens size small (never worn). Great for small ladies or girls.

Mate, if you're in Perth, I'll take you up on that. I'm running a free kite repair clinic in the near future after hours at my shop in Scarbs and it would be an awesome addition to the nights agenda.

Maybe you have something outside of kiting that may be of use to someone. Doesn't have to be kite related.

I love the way this thread is going. Keep it up all! Nice swap ezza, those thermal rashies are awesome!

Hey Rumblefish, Sweet mate, the harness is yours. Come and grab it whenever you like, I'll put it aside for you and will give you a heads up when the repair night is on. If you could spend 20 minutes with us teaching Spectra splicing that would be cool, or maybe hang around for the whole infonight if you want, then the circle will be almost complete. I'll supply the Spectra!

Details on the free night soon if any one is interested. Or follow us on FB www.facebook.com/australiankiteboarding for more details as they arise

Cheers,

DM

Awesome!!! Yet to have my first lesson and I'm already feeling part of the community!!

Lesson is Monday!!

Did I mention that already??

Looking fwd to it just a bit!!!

Will drop by soon and grab the harness and say hi!!

Free most nights, will be fantastic to meet a few people and show how easy it is to splice dyneema/spectra, even if it's just a temporary line to get you on the water while a replacement arrives.

Fantastic idea Darren.
At Woodys Kite Surf & SUP we have got lots of perfectly good liquidation stock we would be more than happy to throw into the pool to create the ever-widening ripple effect of a 'pay-it-forward' plan.
Woodys pledges to find one item every day until we get a seabreeze above 20kts on the Garden Island chart.
To kick it off we've got a great one for any younger kiters out there who could use a 'treadly trailer' to get his/her surf or kite board from home to the beach and back. They even pack up small if one of your olds are picking you up in the car!

And if cycling all the way to Rockingham Rd way down sth in Hamilton Hill is too far for you to pick it up then we'll organise to get it too you.
But rather than giving it to the first PM or email we will make our gift/s to the most deserving (fair dinkum or funny) story we get within 7 days of our offer.
PM thru seabreeze or email to Woodys@live.com.au

And remember 'pay-it-forward' doesnt mean you offer anything back to the giver. Rather, you expand the circle of good will by giving something to, or doing something for, someone else.
With Darrens idea of keeping the good vibe on this thread I guess that means you offer your gift or service back here - to anyone. But, if thats not possible, Im sure reporting back here what you 'paid forward' would keep the karma rippling out.

Top idea Darren Great sentiment to kick off a new year.

I AM IMPRESSED....

I am so glad this thread is taking Seabreeze back to where it should be all the time - assisting the industry in wahtever way possible. I believe the 'pay it forward' idea brough into the forums is the best thing that has come out of these threads since I've joined.

There are no negative comments here and I am very pleased to belong to this community.

Now I'd better make good on all this and go raid my Kitesurfing toolbox.. I'm sure I have some Cab bladders lying around somewhere..

Good and good will... sweet Seabreezes for all of us

i have a 10 m Co2 2003 which i would be happy to send to "In the loop" if you are taking spare kites to PNG ..... (a little hesitant because it was the kite most likely to hurt you, it did the best impression of the hindenburg on a regular basis ....ie flew over your head stalled, wrapped you in lines, and then wacked you in the back of the head ...all in the one smooth motion) or anyone else if luggage excess is a problem for in the loop ..let me know mate!!
