So I picked up the surfboard from AKS this morning.
Thanks heaps to the person who donated it and to Darren for passing it on, looking fwd to getting out this arvo!!
OK, my pay it fwd is this.
Brand new West Jacket. Work collegue got it at a West sale for her son, he didn't like it so gave it to me and it's not really my style.
It's large but verging on XL. As I said brand new, not a mark on it and perfect for warming up after those winter sessions!!!
Can be picked up from my work near Freo.
I was fortunate enough to receive this board awhile back from Todd and am now passing it on as Im getting me a new board:0) Its no good for me, i actually struggle with the straps and find too much time is spent trying to get them in rather then getting up on the board so Paying It Forward:0) The forum was looking a little quiet anyway lol
Slingshot SX122 Doyle It will suit a small lady or a grom. Four fins, handle, 'Nice' footpads and cabrinha straps, top sheet has faded from blue to a pleasant mauve, and a bit of the paint is chipped, but as the car ads say "it's a good runner!" and excellent value for zero dollars!
I have an old 2003 airush lift 11.5m kite. Main bladder needs fixing other bladders are fine. An old powerful c kite, with muc less depower than the modern kites.
Canopy great. Will chuck it of noone wants it - sitting behind fence next to bin ready to go.
But still okay to fly in 15-20 knots.
Email me if you are interested - free of course.
Good to see this thread still going.
Here at Woodys KSS we are constantly getting kiters coming into the store with some minor little annoyance that requires a simple little spare part to solve.
Pump hose nozzles, non-return balls & 1 pump transfer tubes & lock-off clamps are common examples but it extends to all sorts of wierd little bits & pieces. Its great when we have the bit in a box out the back but very disappointing when we dont.
Anyone willing to drop in any old broken bits of kit for us to strip down to parts would be doing everyone a great favour. These parts are ALWAYS passed on for free so its packed full of karma for us both if you can bother to recycle rather that trash it.
Even scrapped kites - we are planning to make give away bags from old kites rather than buy in more plastic that might end up choking a turtle.
All donations gratefully received.
Hi Peeps,
I'm still holding a brand new shmicko Samsung 19" LCD screen on pivot base. Is there someone who would like or need one of these? It's still in the box.
Cheers,
DM
I'm on exchange here in sydney and found some mates that will teach me how to kite. I'm looking for something around 8m-11m. Some bars/line/harness. I could probably borrow one of their boards.
I've been wanting to learn how to kite forever so it'd be awesome to get some hand me downs. I dont really have anything to pay it forward with since I came here with just a backpack. I can however put the gear back up for grabs here in july'ish.
Let me know if anyone can help. No worries if you can't, happy kiting!
Cheers
Scott
I have a new kite on the way shortly and have an 07 North Rebel to give to a good home. Kite was given to me by a fellow seabreezer with a large tear in the canopy, this was repaired by Neil at HTL, includes bar bag and pump (not shown).
It would seam fitting that I could pass it on to another seabreezer who has had a few lessons and looking for a kite to get started on and get them through a season or two. PM me to claim and arrange pickup.
Ooops that's what you get for posting late I guess, forgot the most important bit, the Rebel is a 10m.
Finally I'd like the recipient to demonstrate that they have had lessons, are going to have them or that they understand basic kite function and use. Don't want anyone out there hurting themselves off a good karma donation.
Thanks so much for your kite blueprint!!!
I'm giving away a Guess purse because I'm new to kitesurfing and don't have anything to give away that's kite related. I've had it for about a year and never used it. It's brand new in the box. If you're a guy, maybe your partner will be interested. It's a very well known brand around the world.
