If there was a prize for the best post on Seabreeze you would win hands down. Awesome job.

Hi everyone,

A couple of beaut threads recently got me thinking that it would be awesome to start something for the love and for that good feeling, spreading the love and just plain doing something for no other reason than to make someones day. I propose a free stuff thread.

I'm sure everyone has some old stuff (or newish stuff) they don't want or need in the store room or back shed that could benefit someone else.

Only rules are it has to be free, and if you are the recipient of the free goods, then you have to then also, in turn, give something away on this thread. You cannot profit from scoring free stuff ie, you cannot sell it onwards. Lastly, if it is stuffed, make sure the description is accurate, no deceiving people!

You do not have to receive free goods to offer free goods, but again, if you are the recipient of a free deal, then you need to give something away too.

Simple ay?

Happy to start with a modest offering of a free harness. Pro Limit Team Wave with quick Disconnect Spreader bar. Size is about Medium to Large.

First to PM takes it home. Can be picked up at the shop!

Happy Free Stuff!

DM

F-One Mach-1 10m (9.1m) with bar & lines. Leading edge bladder needs repair or replacement. Not sure of year but around 2005. This is an old style C-kite with (a lot) less than 110% depower and is not suitable for beginners (or probably any form of kiting activity for that matter). Pick up in Perth.

Cheers Dirty. I am sure I can make some good use of this and its super modern compared to stuff I last owned.

So anyone need a 2000 NP zone, 5.0 ( Thats windsurfing )Its ok for teaching or if you thinking about getting back into it and just want to start building up a rig to get a feel again.

Edit: DirtyHarry may want this himself so I'll show him first up.

Today Woody picked out another one for the ladies.
Any lady kiters (or kiters partners) who really need to upgrade their beach-wear collection should jump on this one.
Two complete sets of ladies Ginja or Baku fashion bikinis (or one bikini & one one piece) - yours for the chance to 'pay-it-forward'.
GO.....

Hi Gang,

Just confirming that Todd dropped the Mystic Warrior Harny in together with the floats Pro Limit leash.

Tell ya mates there is free stuff available. Just drop in to the shop to collect.

Cheers, DM.

PS Good to see the love being spread. There must be literally tonnes of stuff people have hidden away under inches of dust that someone young and under financed could use???? Try the gift of giving if you don't use it.

Hey Rumblefish, Sweet mate, the harness is yours. Come and grab it whenever you like, I'll put it aside for you and will give you a heads up when the repair night is on. If you could spend 20 minutes with us teaching Spectra splicing that would be cool, or maybe hang around for the whole infonight if you want, then the circle will be almost complete. I'll supply the Spectra!

Details on the free night soon if any one is interested. Or follow us on FB www.facebook.com/australiankiteboarding for more details as they arise

Cheers,

DM

Heres an idea - webcam the splicing session and post it on here.

my original 'little o' kite
it was my first love and couldn't bring myself to sell it.
darren could give you more info about it as he sold it to me
i'm not sure if it's 2007/2008 ozone instinct (the one with 5 lines and a thin leading edge)

it's a 7m and orange. not really that worn but has burst twice and been repaired by hold the lines....

probably like to give it to deserving lady who is new to kiting and maybe can't afford gear..........

hey little o, i got a 12m kite for christmas, clearly way too big for me and pretty usless here in perth, hubby and kids were trying to get me on the water quicker lol if you wreckon a 7m may be a good size for me I would love to take it off your hands unless you get a more suitable candidate. i'm still saving for my lessons and know I wont be able to afford my gear straight away so may be a good start to get me on the water slightly quicker. was going to sell my 12m but wreckon this forum is a good idea:0)

Wicked Elisha.
well we better add a board to that then. 2004 (I think) Slingshot SX122 Doyle, purchased for my daughter. Only issue is the 11 year old has shot up and its too small, so this is also up for grabs.

Like Elisha's Kite, it will suit a small lady or a grom. Four fins, handle, 'Nice' footpads and cabrinha straps, top sheet has faded from blue to a pleasant mauve, and a bit of the paint is chipped, but as the car ads say "it's a good runner!" and excellent value for zero dollars!
I'll drop off at AKS so PM Darren or call the shop if you're interested.

I'm interested in both:0) I am only wanting some basic gear to begin with and I checked the review for the SLINGSHOT SX122 DOYLE and seems to be a versatile board i think would suit a beginner like me and if i'm wrong please let me know, just going by what the review said...seems to be a good one back in the days lol. If it turned out not to work out down the track cause i may outgrow it and will be buying new gear once i'm on my feet anyway I can always put back on here anyway right!
In return I would like to put up the 12m RRD 2007 Pink Kite I got for chrissie, i just dont think I am really going to get much use out of it so would rather it go to someone that it will. As I work in the transport industry I will be able to get cheaper transport costs too for anyone over east or anywhere else in Australia wanting it sent over. Unfortunately we dont get it free!
My second thing to put up is my slingshot trainer Kite to encourage other potential newbies to get into this amazing sport.
I will pm Darren and see if Board is still available and will posts pics of my trainer and 12m tonight when i get home:0)
I hope thats enough, i tend to worry alot and as a newbie I dont know if what I do have is any good. I like to think it is, I do love my 12m just think its a monster:0)

Hi Peeps,

How is your Good Karma level?

We now are gathering a collection of free (Pay it forward type) stuff at the shop. The Doyle board is here, we have the Pro Limit Harness which I think is claimed, we have a Pat Love Cast Large waist harness which is same as the ones we are selling new for $260 and also a Mystic Warrior in XL.

You can come and collect it but you MUST pay it forward and give something else away, price is not relevent as long as it makes someone elses day!

Keep it going! Good Karma will follow you.

Cheers,

DM

Hey Little o,

You're going to need a truck to carry around your load of good karma

The kite was released in Feb 2008 and was one of the best little 7m kites of all time. Light, spritely, and easy to fly, this is the perfect ladies small kite.

I can't believe you're parting with this kite Lish, a magnanomous offer. Good on ya!

no problem at all, sure does work fine, was going to give it to my son to keep practicing with but he wants to get his own new one(be responsible and all) so am happy with that...it will be perfect for her, has always been hosed down and dried before packing away. I'm having trouble sending back replies at the moment for some reason so send me an email to my work email: michelle.fisher@tollgroup.com amd we can arrange a time for you to pickup. I'm south of the river or you can always meet me in Kewdale to pickup:0)

Sorry I'm a bit of a pedestrian learner

Do I drop the Creatures Surf Wrax (and kite if i don't hear from ITL) into Daz's shop or wait till someone bags the gear and sort them picking it up myself?

EDIT:

Hey! Just spotted the Pat Love Harny - I'm keen unless anyone else is desperate? Am still using a seat but have been keen to try a newer waist (eventually sore lower back is prodding along the choice too)
