Get on this guys, excellent help from the early stages to even the most advanced. We have had two of these in Sydney and are eagerly awaiting the 3rd.

Plus if you feed Chris beer and chocolate together there is excellent evening entertainment!

Huge thank you to all who attended Adelaide's Kaizen Clinic and for making the journey down to the Murray Mouth!! Such an epic kiting spot you have there but unfortunately the wind played games with us!! Thank you to Jarrod and Josh from BoardingHQ for helping the Kaizen Team put this on and for their hospitality over the weekend! It was great getting to meet you and I am sure both Declan and Will as I did, enjoyed getting to spend some time with you and give you a few tips here and there. Shame the wind did not provide great riding conditions s we were just starting to see a few riders having a crack at some new skills!! Watch this space tho, as I will plan for another clinic for all those who attended Sunday and for those who missed out.

Perth clinic planned for Sunday the 8th at Safety Bay is booking fast, we may even have a guest coach in Ewan Jaspen!! Please book and pay online at

Safety Bay Clinic
We are all set to meet at 11am opposite WestOZ Boardsports in the park. We will go through some basic house keeping such as indemnity forms and payment etc.

We will discuss your goals and get you into groups of similar outcomes and rider levels. Based on todays hectic traffic in the pond, we may look at taking the clinic up to the beach access near Pengos cafe. We have options so we discuss further in the morning.

I look forward to meeting you and seeing how we can help your riding.

Cheers, Chris
P.S- if you have made online payment, thank you, if not can you please bring cash as we do not have eftpos facilities.

Good times had by all in todays Project Kaizen Clinic, big thanks to Liquid Force and Westoz Boardsports for bringing this day of coaching to WA!!

I personally was so stoked to see an amazing attitude and willingness to try even in strong winds. We had riders land their first transitions, big jumps right through to an NIS being stomped by Steve who at 45 is showing no sign of slowing!! Safety Bay is an amazing kitespot for sure, but the heavy traffic made conditions challenging, it was appreciated that clinic riders were able to negotiate this and make for a great day of progression.

Both Declan and I enjoyed coaching and are looking forward to seeing you all progress further in our absence, thank you and see you soon!

Great clinic guys, very well run.
I only joined at the last minute to support my kids, but I have to say that in 14 years, the $75 fee probably improved my kitesurfing more than any other single purchase I have made.
I would strongly recommend this clinic to anyone wanting to improve quickly, or if like me feel stuck in a rut and need motivation to try something new. Awesome crew and, everyone was improving as the day went on. Big thumbs up from the kids and myself, we will definatly be there for the next one in WA
Well done to Chris and Declan thanks for the motivation and coaching
Also thanks Chris, I'll take 45

Fantastic session! Most progression I’ve had in a single session, ever. Kaizen, meaning continuous improvement, delivers.

We were split into groups according to our skill level, then discussed our goals for the day, so the guidance and observation could be tailored to the rider. The combination of observation, “just try this small thing” a couple of times, come back in, and get the next tip, was hugely effective. Felt like this was tailored to me! I was having trouble consistently nailing transitions and jumps, but you just can’t observe yourself anywhere near as well as this. Now I know all the small things I was doing wrong (and right!), would have taken me many, many session for them to dawn on me.

I highly recommend these sessions. $75 for 4-5 hours, unbeatable.

A huge thanks to Chris and Declan for the tuition, and constant focus on improvement. When’s the next one?!! Thanks also to Jason from West Oz Kiteboarding for supporting.

Stoked.

Jim.
