good stuff mate, but take advice from someone who knows: get more air before you throw those loops. you'll have busted knees before you're 20 if you keep landing that hard man. wait till there's more wind, throw the jump HIGH, then throw the loop. the kite should arrest your fall before you hit the water hard. it's more scary initially to loop the kite when you know you're going big, but it is generally a lot safer than doing it on a 15-20 foot jump.

Hey ewan

Download a copy of Sony Vegas. You can pick up a 30 day trial. Its great for video editing and easier than some of the premier packages out there.

Might also help if you can find a package to help stabilise the camera shake.

I liked your video a lot Ewan. Looks like you're kiting pretty hard to me! Good work. Please keep the local videos coming.

Youtube can do good quality these days, but you have to compress the video in a format that Youtube likes. Have a look in Wikipedia under Youtube for a discussion on formats. It's a bit of a mission, but you can get free encoders that will get Youtube 'HD quality'.

yer i will try to download sony vagas to improve the vid and will add some more footage to it and get rid of all the 'same' kiteloops.

this weekend was pretty good for footage on the kitemag safari. thanks heaps to george for organising the trip, mark for the accomodation and chris for the lift down
