is it just vic or does nobody have any kiteable wind?
Lincoln and me went to elwood park for a landboard today, was pretty fun but doesnt look it on the vid. hahaha
Looks like we have some good wind to look forward to this week though. Pity most of it is during work hours.
Everyone in that vid was ripping. Super slick, sticking those moves hardcore.
Love the editing in the vid too.
Keep them coming*.
*not
looks like a bit of light wind fun.
Here in NSW we have had southerly for the past 3 or 4 days, I've had a couple of pretty good sessions, had a two hour sesh today in 15-20 knots, got sore knees from too much jumping!
.Yesterday was a cracker in what has been a usual crap autumn with the odd day here and there ,Some guys out having fun.I had mothers day duties (wife ,my mum, wifes mum and sister its a big deal)and when leave pass granted the crappest part of the whole day coincided wind wise dropping off for 1 hr .I noticed when I got home wind picked up again just aftre I left (It was pretty dark by then)
Ewan, get some foil kites.
The fly better in light stuff and they don't get trashed as easy like your inflatos will.
Mmmm Elwood brings back memories, mainly of dog cr@p, lol.
Cya and
Goodwinds

Leave the winter woolies in the drawer, whack on a pair of boardies. The tropics are only just up the road and the rednecks round these parts are mighty friendly.
It is that easy. 'Oh, one more thing, you can believe a fair amount of the bad reviews and ridicule that the Far North has received, but it's not painting an accurate picture of what people are missing out on.
Make sure you explore the options North of Cairns. Simply some of the best conditions in Australia. And yes there are waves. Up to 2 1/2 metres on an ordinary day. Not the supreme dreamy surf conditions that you can expect elsewhere but some pretty decent rides none the less.
Anybody who has managed to make the trip have been left with a new appreciation of what the Remote Far North has to offer.
Options around Port for incredible outer reef trips are another way to get the most out of your experience in the North. In no way is this a promotion of any company or organization that operates up here. Plenty of backpackers and local guys and girls make the most of our beautiful back yard on a budget. But let's face it, some times you do get what you pay for and if some one is prepared to outlay there life in order to give people new opportunities and experiences good on em'.
In short, if you have a little spare cash, the water is freezing and the winds are fickle it's easy to get a world class experience on a budget.
Nice work Ewan!
It really is hard to translate some of the water moves onto land. Land hurts way more!
I turned to landboarding last winter when it got too cold and crappy for the water. Definitely recommend trying to get your hands on some nice big foils for those light wind days as they're much more fun than struggling with an inflato in ultra-light winds.
Surfingboye, id like to see u landboarding on ur second attempt in 2 years. i am sure u wouldnt be pullin much more, it bloody hard to pop in 10 -12 knots on land with a landboard with trucks which are suuuuppperrr loose.
yer thanks for the advice guys i will try some foils sometime
