Because it's so hard to accurately measure height, I think we should rate our jumps in terms of how many windsurfers you cleared before landing. This morning I did two, not making any friends at my new local in a hurry

But I can say that the 11m edge is nowhere near maxed out in 25++

Some pretty sweet boosts here.

So why not accompany every picture with your best advises for getting solid airtime? I know it differ from kite and condition but we can all learn something from every persons experience.

my advice. find a ramp!!.. boost off a wave lip. fly at the top end of teh wind range of the kite. just before you need to trip to reduce power. that gives me the best boost. and of course. lots of wind!.

Personally - I would learn how to carve the board upwind and jump first WITHOUT the kite, it will teach you how to time the tensioning of your lines...

The kite wastes a lot of boost energy, if the board hasnt released from the drag/suction of the water - time the line tension with the board release, you get full power.. waves do this for you but still dont teach you fineline timing..

Then after youve learnt to send the kite... to go higher you need absolute aggression with split second pulling on the bar

Make sure your kite is tuned properly for jumping !!!

it aint a Hot air ballon have fun

more big boosting and less lawnmowing - love a big old lifter

and throw in a front roll with nose grab for style and you are on like Donkey Kong

- i always thought flight that was the entire point of kiting - flying never got boring for me!

Don't jump to much these days - love strapless surfboard riding.

Had fun on central coast though. Had "super" ramps...

Was a North Rhino - don't think I have had a kite since that jump like that power monster.

Did they boost higher, or did you all just ride way better from being forced to edge out gusts because sheeting out did nothing?

Lets get all boasty and lay down how high we have jumped.

We might as well set a measurement units. I'm calling the unit to be in lamp posts.

.........

Is that real lamp posts, or kiter lamp posts?

Don't know for sure? Someone else might be able to explain it better than me. Yeh I suppose they were pure C kites, so talking about say the lift pro, yeh you had to edge manically. You just seems to stay up there so long. But I'm probably wrong...think about say the edge, now be hard for any old kite to beat that. Just nolstagic bull**** probably....
