Hula is a windy place it just seems to always be windier there than anywhere else along the coast. With only 20 knots forecast in port moresby a few of the riders took the road trip down to hula. They were greeted with 30-40knot winds and could only manage a few hours of kiting in the mornings before it got too strong.

Hula wind is like Lizard Island wind.. warm and strong 
how were the waves? looks like Shaun had some fun on the surfboard..
from what shaun tells me, the waves were pretty blown out. They did manage a long down winder along the reef edge with some long wave rides.
