acronym is plenty enough !!
just makin it clear on my thoughts on the matter of a suk specific kite is all
after all whats wrong with just using your normal kite
It will be interesting to see if the kite actually has an advantage of any kind in light wind - I think it may do.
F-one must have tried it before spending so much money on a new kite design, so maybe it works for lessons?
If you had a SUP and no other light wind board, it would get you on the water.
i agree, if there is not enough wind to jump, then its not kiting. Hate how people go on about how they have kited in 12 knots....harden up and go out in 50 knots
SUP's are amazing. So versatile.
If a sport is fun already (eg surfing / kitesurfing), then take a make the board stupidly bigger, heavy, grab a paddle, then youve ruined it.
They dont even look fun!
dont get me wrong, i try to kite in most winds, but if you can't at least get off the water and play around, even if have to go down wind it just isnt enjoyable for me
More fun on a mini mal in summer waves than a Sup unless you are sharing the ride with a hottie...no paddling......My set up is on an 11m bandit in 10-12kn on a 7,2 mini mal you can still boost the thing but its more just a good perve vehicle going down the beach hanging the toes off the nose and doing coffin rides n bein a dik...The next level is a my esky strapped to the front so u can kite, drink and pik up girls in one session...My wife hates this....Na just jokes I aint married.
I do enjoy going for a paddle / surf on my SUP (under 15kts) and love kiting even more (over 15kts) but this just looks plain wrong! I'd much rather be paddling.
Ok Rowdy, I bought a scooter today, had a blast but the knees ache. Great for getting around in Euroland. Just learning how to oli on to curbs.
