Wave
Wake
Freestyle
Race?
Freeride?

Robby Naish sums it up nicely- All these disciplines of Kiting are growing and evolving.
I reckon all these styles are fun but its hard to find the time and resources to ride them all.

and I will sell essentially the same kite marketed to each hypothetically individually concieved disipline, and then play them off each other and spin incredulous crap about the intricate design discrepancies and advantages of each succeeding model pertaining to the kiting disipline I wish to choir too at any one particular time and yet always keep in mind the championing of the evolving and multi disiplinary market of freedom marketed as kiting

I vaguely remember Mark Angulo saying, about 20 years ago, that "you've got to remember you're just out there riding around on a toy." By which I understood him to mean, "enjoy yourself, but try to avoid the delusion that you're particularly special or wonderful."

Some nice shots in that vid, but one should be wary of handing microphones to kiters. Robby Naish was my hero in 1987. I still love his riding but now he looks and talks like an embarrassing clown with his teenage hip-hop hat and faux existential prattlings. Hadlow at least seems to have some sense of irony about the ridiculous "bling" aspects of what he does.
