I'm pretty sure everybody has broken something during kiting. It doesnt matter if its a broken bone, board, shredded kite, leash, harness, bodypart, whetever.

Post up a picture, I'm sure I'm not the only one who keeps breaking stuff.






Plenty more to come once I get my camera sorted.

Please note that this is not meant to be a slag fest for manufacturers. All gear can be broken, just some gear breaks more often than others

I did exactly the same thing to my SX147 - referring to the 2nd photo.

Had a car run over my cab custom though... all fixed now thank goodness.

got hit by a gust and slammed the kite into the water. was a bit surprised at the extent of the damage personally.

is that a vapor1? if so yeah ive seen that tear on a couple of other vapor 1s and personally added one on a backmobe crash, no kiteloop or anything just kite hits water.

Not sure what weakened it, but this was just a reasonably high raley landed a bit flat, then snap

Thankfully I were on the water and not 40ft in the air when this went

You would hope that dakine stress relieve their welds but I doubt it. Classic fatigue failure this one
