What sort of cross-training should I do to help prepare for this discipline?
Is there special lycra clothing that may add performance?
Is it better to have one-pump or separate strut inflation for these moves?
Will the 2011 fuels be more focused on beach-based-jump-through-string riding, or will there be a dedicated kite?
My mind has been blown wide open!
Maybe a separate forum category? This is bigger than kiteboarding!
Holey Crap
I got alf a mind to tell that bloke what for!
Its people like him that ruin it for everyone and I dont care if hes some Hoodlem osama bin laden eastern states terror kiter or not
what really pees me off is his left shoe lace is not dun up.. freakin Raghead hoodlem
ahh well
compassion has overwhelmed me at least hes trying to integrate but a few cents short for the board..
lets give him a Visa n 10,000 dollars to buy some new gear..
that vid was definately shot in 30 knots man, he's 1337 man, the uberness of interwebville
that vid makes "we did nothing" look like crap.
That's got to be the best launch and landing of a kite I have seen in a long while, and the cartwheel was definitely cutting edge. Why do I get the feeling this new craze that is killing our sport needs some more lycra...
PS: Leashes are still a good idea in 5 knots, and line burn still hurts at that wind speed too
Im hijacking this thread to find out WHO RIDES THERE BOARD WITH BOOTS & FINLESS
thats the FUTURE IMO.
Learn to edge people.
I'd like to think that eventually surfers are going to catch on that they don't always need fins on their boards. That opens up a lot more tricks for them if they can learn to hold an edge.
Na na, that's pretty dangerous behaviour!
Launching unhooked, kite in the powerzone - more of this stuff will get our beaches banned!
Especially the Fuel is a serious extreme sport device which deserves more respect!
I read on the internet that it develops massive power in a "kiteloop"!1
what are fins?
i thought boogers wore them?
do they help you swim after your gear when you have unhooked, unleashed, and ditched it?
how do you get your feet in the footstraps with your fins on?
