Hey guys this is my best mate and he surfs and skates but doesn't kite, he is 14 and as much as iv tried to convince him to kite he wont. this is him skating let me know what you think.

Aww he'll come across, he just needs to start wearing boardies over his wetty, have a partner he can complain about and start developing bones that don't like being dropped on hard concrete

Na leave him in the skate park cause if he ever gets a kite he would make some of us look silly 
Perhaps he doesnt want to spend thousands of $$$ each year on new kite gear.
Surfing & skating certainly has that over kiting.

the most important thing is hanging out doing what u love with mates , sooo need similar aged kids to hang out with and push the riding/ make it super fun especially if want to keep doing it.
Skating is awesome because you get to meet so many interesting different kinds of people because it is way more affordable for everyone. It's a win win situation. I kite skate surf and sup - love em all, never bought into the whole - one is cooler than the others, they all have something I enjoy with high levels of riding to aspire to. DK one of nzs most famous shortboard surfers/big wave chargers, is also into bodyboarding, suping, kiting and for sure has skated a bit too. Best thing about multi board sports.. meeting all sorts of awesome people, never burn out switch boards, travel and having a sport for all weather conditions + doing one can make you better at the other too - especially kiting on a surfboard...
yea he does all those except kite.... something just wont click in his head about kiting...
it didn't for me early on, my brother kited, i didn't like the look of it, then i borrowed his kite to give it a go and had to buy him a new one as i borrowed it so often.
Yea im working on him, he has something about him that he seems to just jump on anything and make it look great... i with i had that and im sure many of you with the same haha
