Hey guys,

Check the latest vid that went live of our trip to Indo. Far to say we scored some epic waves! Definitely got some of the best kiting barrels I've gotten. Already missing this place!

Well that looked pretty epic! Just a question, how many kite casualties were there? I saw a couple of shots of the kite drifting down and more than likely you would have surfed past the kite. Time to get it up before rolling in the wind or sets? Just curious...

At that particular spot not any when I was there. Most of the time when you crash your kite there it lands in the channel. I did have one or two waves hit it pretty bad, but if you release the kite most of the time nothing happens. You just have to be careful not to get wrapped up in the lines.

that's crap! Just fkn surf if u gonna do barrels, why bother having a kite in the way. If you are going to take a kite into the surf, use the kite to perform tricks that would otherwise be impossible, Eg a massive bankroll landing back on the face. Otherwise ditch the kite.

Out at my home beach today had the place to myself some sick waves coming through, thought I was going to get my first kite barrel instead the wave closed out on my face and I lost my hat. Motto of the story don't wear a hat :(

Your just displaying your ignorance champ. So no barrells? Are we allowed to do re-entries or do we just "bankroll" down the whole wave. That particular spot where they are going for the barrells is way heavier than the camera conveys. It's shallow and the end section just explodes. It is mostly left alone a lot by paddle surfers especially when it's big and the tide is draining as they simply can't make the drop, and if you could it sections out. These guys are pushing the sport forward with progressive riding and great videos to watch. I look forward to your videos.
