Public holiday next Tuesday...who's up for a downwinder?
Swanbourne to Brighton and a sausage sizzle to finish off the day.
Meet at Brighton car park from 1.30pm. Our bus will leave 2.00pm or there abouts...

WAKSA
Yes. Depending on the numbers we might have to drop two bus loads, but it's only one run so to speak.
In answer to your comment "if the wind's good"
Tuesday: E/SE winds 15/20 knots easing to 10/15 knots during the morning.
Winds shifting S/SW 15/20 knots in the afternoon and increasing to 20/30 knots by late afternoon.
Well there you have it folks....the easterlies dropped off, the breeze came in and it was all good.
Thirty kiters jumped on board the bus, strapped in & took off, only to invade Swanbourne beach. We rigged up, launched & took off on what was a fine 18kts. Within a few minutes the fleet was stretched out and up the coast and it was a spendid sight to behold - 30 kites all heading north...without delay, the breeze picked up and so did the fleet.
By the time we all got to Brighton, the breeze was a solid 21-23kts and everyone was relieved, thirsty & somewhat keen on the obligatory sausage sizzle (thank you Pat for being ground crew/back up/sausage sizzler extraordinaire...)
It was an entirely sensational way to spend a great day...thanks to all for coming down & sharing in the fun.
Thank You Waksa Crew,
I had a great sess. out on the water, especially as i made to the finish line this time..........superb downwinder and well organised; c you all at kitestock mmx.
