Dont think we want the heatwave. Chilly = wind and swell. Just left logans beach and it is looking good people. forcast for fri is saying 4.5meter swell with a 18knot SW wind. Fully Sick.
It would be good though if we had more people register. Excelent prize money up for grabs plus heaps of giveaways plus original pieces of artwork as trophies that anyone would be proud to display in your home. Not kidding they are beautiful and unique.

Whats a good place to camp out at? And do we need to register before camping out?
I arrived today and checked into the shipwreck bay caravan park (surfside2) the one closest to the presentation venue in J in the bool's map.
I mentioned the nationals and got a 10% discount (powered site for $19.80 usually $22), the park is sort of an overflow park that is only open summer holidays and easter etc.
The park is right on the beach, is nearly empty especially the Eastern end closest to the Sunday comp site and the showers are nice and hot, so it seems like the go.
The wind was up when I arrived around midday but I made the mistake of checking into the caravan park and having lunch first and by the time I pumped up the wind had dropped heaps.
Great day one of nationals... Lightish winds but completed first round heats in woman, junior & masters... And then finished the day with a great down winder with 30ish kiters...
