What do you do when you're looking forward to going kiteboarding all weekend but when it finally comes around there's NO wind (perhaps the forecast was wrong)?

Let's just pretend that you're single and you DO have friends, but you didn't plan anything with them coz you thought you'd be out with the wind in your hair all weekend.
Can you recommend any kiteboarding videos, music, games or other activities etc... that might lessen one's appetite and frustration (keeping it clean)?

Banana,

You sound critically addicted...

Why not stand up boarding (it is as fun as it looks boring...)

or

landboarding is a good option when the wind is a bit too light for the water.

brownie points. on the no-wind days do the "spending time" and all the chores and earn as many brownie points as you can so that on the good days you can disappear for hours on end no problem!

It must be REALLY fun then

landboarding is a good option when the wind is a bit too light for the water.

I haven't seen much of this at all... It's kiteboarding on wheels right? is it safe to assume that if you can kiteboard that you can landboard? or do you need lessons?
Do most kite shops have landboarding gear?

Landboarding is awesome :) if you can kiteboard, you'll be trying jumps on your first session landboarding - it's super easy...

As soon as your kite fly's you can be rockin along. Most shops sell Mtb's, they are anywhere between 300 and 1000 bucks...

Make sure the shop you buy it from has spares in stock because stuff breaks all the time...

I found with landboarding that if there was enough wind for it to be fun then there is enough wind to go on the water.

Not enough wind is hard work and too much wind is scary.
