I landed my ozone on a piece of coral and it got a hole in it...
I guess what I'm trying to say is...
there's a hole in my ozones' layer
I hope Ozone bring out more non-water kites, even a Nasa Wing single-skin would be cool! Woohoo
I love my Ozone Octane but I wish they would go beyond the 5m2 barrier. Something closer to 10m2 would be prrrrrfct. Any thoughts on this Steve?
Ozone make 3 models of depowerable foils up to 15m (Access, Frenzy and Summit) Then Ozone Method goes up to 6.5m and the new Ozone Quantum is produced up to 13.5m!
They make plenty of big non-water kites :)

Pfffhhhh.... That's not a hole!
THIS, is a hole....
Even my dog is devastated....
(btw, the damage is my fault, not the kites)

Looking at the sign in your picture, I hope that you didn't need to swim in when it all went wrong

Those ACHTUNGs look dangerous! There are hardly any crocodiles in this bit of river (thought I saw one once but couldn't be 100% sure), sharks on the other hand....
It's all good until something goes pear shaped that ends in a swim in <insert jaws music>
That's what the mutt's for.
Can't you see it's a retriever?
She's mostly fine while I am kiting and not too far away. But if I drop the kite she swims out to 'help'.
Look on the dogs face must be mirroring the owners...Been there, not the best feeling hey.
Yep, pretty much. The kite is being fixed now; she will fly again...
Btw, sorry for the thread hijack. Great thread, good to learn a bit about the way Ozone do their thing.
One of the reasons I bought my first one was that I figured a company making wings either has good quality control, or good lawyers.

I know. What I said was "more" non-water kites, and I was referring specifically to the Octane. I love fixed bridle kites because they are easier to control and are much more powerful and quicker which is why I also said it would be cool if a NASA wing would be produced commercially (other than the guys in Belgium) by a big company such as Ozone.
Sorry I am into the land kiting more these days. Water kiting around here is too condensed around 2 or 3 months and the risk or crocs and sharks put me off. Oh well, one less kook in their waters! :)
