Hi
i was driving my mini to the beach to do a spot of kitesurfing and a kangaroo jumped out in front of me and put a little dint in the bonnet ,luckily no one was hurt and the kangaroo hopped away which is nice for him too.
I contacted the farmer who owns the land that he jumped out of .he said he shoots any roos that come on his property so it must have come out of the national park next door so I should speak to the government as its theirs .they asked me where the kangaroo was headed and i said there was a nice grassy field and stream across the road from the farmers place ,they said i'd better speak to the local koori people because they now own that land after recently proving native title and it was their nice patch of land that lured the roo across the road ,they said that a mining company had recently been given a mining lease to mine the property so they were responsible , I contacted the mining company but the receivers answered the phone saying that the mining company had gone broke because of the world financial crisis and the slump in commodity prices ,so bad luck.
my mini still has the dint and I want to get it fixed .What am I to do
(BTW if and when I find someone responsible and get it fixed and suggestions on how to keep sand out ?)
I only recently had it repainted too
That's one very pink mini you have there dude.
Sounds like you're having a laugh but if you're not - dude, you can't find a responsible person for a kangaroo.
OK, I get it now - a windsurfer hit my board..........
Ha Ha, cant believe someone actually replied seriously to this.
I'd blame America for the recession, then throw a shoe at Bush
It must have looked something like this when it happened (I was pushing the mini pretty hard at the time)
I suggest a bit of full moon kiting with your baby strapped to your back and then have a full on accident, whilst showing off too close to shore taking out innocent by-standers with no AKSA insurance and no safety release in 50 knot direct onshore winds riding an old 16m Arc.
