Some people here seem to be pretty angry at the world. I can't wait till this rain clears off and we get some wind so you all can chill out. And bring on the Christmas spirit!

Bloody hell standard are slipping!
yo reevsy youve been watchin toooo many steven segal movies, the royal marines although an elite fighting unit are not special forces ,like the sas or sbs which was the next level for me to take, only serving sas or sbs are to keep lets say hush about what they are doing or who they are , i wasnt bragging.
Hate Steven seal but agree with the rest.
Play the ball not the man.
Unfortunate the guy who raised his concern for the environment didn't do himself any favours in the popularity stakes. But for the sake of actually seeing some solid scientific debate, on what is pretty much a scientifically contentious issue, it would be great to see people arguing science rather than mud slinging.
Interesting that real scientists will never say something is 100% fact.
Only that there isn't yet anything that disproves their theory and a lot of evidence supporting it. It would appear that there still isn't anything that can prove without doubt that we are causing climate change... or that we are not. As a result the need to take action should be decided based on risk and probability rather than the complete "I'm right" and "you're wrong" approach that seems to be forced upon us.
All I can say is that for people not prepared to make some changes in the way we do things for the purpose of minimising the risk of completely buggering our future is "I really hope you're right".
Actually while on the subject is anyone willing to place a bet on it? Interesting that many insurance companies aren't, they've got a pretty good understanding of risk and probability....
A massive part of the north polar region that used to have ice no longer has it .Fact The thickness of the ice that is left is no where near what it used to be when submarines first visited the areas and measured the ice thickness so that they could surface, Fact .The peninsula area of the south pole no longer has a massive amount of the sea ice that it once had .Fact .
Glacial Areas of Sth Georgia that Shackleton photographed in the early 20th century only have a fraction of the ice that they once had .Fact .We are consuming the earths finite resources like there is no tomorrow .Fact .There you go Something is going on (but bugger i'm not a scientist).I'll leave it there for now .and geez the weather is strange at the moment ,
and yeah isn't kitesurfing a great sport
