Try kiting with your hands closer together on the bar. You will find it will improve your riding.

Nice one Alex.

Next time, try it with a super wide-angle converter and you'll find it's even better.

With helmetcam, the wider the angle the better. Even a fisheye (if you're willing to spring for the $$s) isn't too wide.

You can pick up .4-.5X screw-on wide angle converters off eBay for around $50.

Cheers,

Rob

Yeh you should have sprayed that guy who cruised under your lines!

If you have your hands as close to the middle of the bar as possible when you do your backrolls, you'll find the kite wont dart off and crash or send the kite.

RAL INN,your cam looks as if it is pointing where your looking.cant see the problem??????
What cam are you useing?
Looks like a top spot to kite, great conditions, exept for the launch and land site and the walk down the stairs to get into the water. If things went bad while on land ,would be a world of hurt, but worth it.

My problem is when on waves and I think I am getting a shot showing the wave barrelling etc and all you get is footage of the flat water just in front. I know that I am most likely watching the wave with eyes turned to side, so need to be aware more of the camera. I just wondered if others had found a way past this problem.

the other thing is how the Camera flattens out everything so that waves look small and jumps Low. (OK my jumps are low but leave me a little self esteem)

HelmetCamera.com

It's great and records to a MP4 player the size of a Mobile phone. I am working on a smaller waterproof pack for it.

Tony, I've got the answer, wear the helmet on your other head.
No need to thank me now.

I'd need a bigger Helmet for that and the Chicken loop is too hard to get into the harness.
