Make sure the music is turned down !

I have seen this before on no wind days and am very keen to try it out .Interesting how this guy pops it down sideways and uses it as a traction kite to get him back up the hill and then off he goes .

we do .The problem is getting there .I have found over the years snowkiting that it is a big upwind and uphill slog to get to the top of the ramshead range with lots of gusty stuff and lee of the hill winds (which are actually surprisingly clean in spots) .there is a spot on the range just above cootapatamba hut that is epic . it holds the snow well and the prevailing westerly wind comes straight up the hill and is clean as with nothing in the way .The snow is good windblown stuff and its a hoot ,just a big mission to get to .

Hey Floatie

If you go for a slightly larger wing you can ridge soar it and stay up. No need for mountains, snow or skis.

You can pull some serious high-G turns and swoops.

You have to be a licenced paraglider pilot and all that and the winds needed do overlap the bottom end of kiteboarding strength so there is a conflict there.

Look at the Nova Ibex, Gin Bobcat in the larger sizes (or Yeti in the smaller), Aerodyne Feex or Little Cloud wings.

The Fluidkiteboarding designer based in france also designs these things.
I know there not cheap but look like heaps of fun. I've seen some amazing clips of him testing his new proto's.
