Son says to Mum "Will Dad be going kiteboarding on Christmas day?"
Suppose I better not.

Teach your son to kite and it's totally fine! Christmas camping with my family used to be awesome if it was windy, we would get all the silly sh!t out of the way earlier then get all the men in the car to go to the beach and test out all our new toys! Couldn't be better!

Not over doing it!!!

Son say to Mum "Will Dad be going kiteboarding on Christmas day?" Mum sais to Son "Why of course Son! What better way can my darling love of my life spend his valuable and precious time but to do what all great men should do on Christmas Day or any other day that the winds are howling and the surf is pumping for that matter of fact. Hopefully one day young man, you will grow up to be a Kiteboarder and be as cool as your father."

I wish rowdy, he rips on the surf and on the skateboard, I know he'd kill it with a kite but I just carnt get him hooked on one, imagine the excuses for a farther son bonding break

Leave a few cool kite videos around that would appeal to what he's into, you can't force your kid to do anything unfortunately, but if he at least has the option and inspiration he might come around.

Its called brownie points - earn them and burn them - oh so ever so cautiously!! - that why we have weather forecasts!!
Im going kiting tomorrow arvo if the seabreeze kicks in - been planned for at least a week - its all about expectations ;-)
