Daz just sent some snaps through of the old bar weekend(great weekend btw thanks to all for making it a good one and also huey for coming to the party and not quite killing us with the windshift and massive accompanying gust ) . I didn't realise that after the fat idot with the bunnings hat failed at helping Sarah, Mal courageously headed out into the raging outgoing torent in dieing winds to launch a sucessful rescue of Sarah .Well done Mal
Needed a jet ski, then it would have been was less trouble to get same fat idiots drifting board
Great time had by all.
On my way home I dropped into where the fam is staying at Tiona near Forster .there was a westerly blowing and the kids were bored .i rigged up a ski rope on the back of my harness .Took the straps and fins off my skim/wave board and towed them around in the shallow stuff (It wasn't just a tow ,we were fangin around and the kids were stoked with the speed we were doing ) I was on my twin tip .We had a ball and I was surprised that I could also go upwind doing this and did circuits .Could be a good thing for the lil gibber trip to give the non kiters a thrill Daz
SOUNDS GOOD LACH. WE CAN DO THE TOW THING UP THE GIBBER, ON SURF BOARDS. ALL WE NEED TO DO IS PUT SOME PRESSURE ON CRAIG TO BUY A JET SKI !!!!! COME ON BIG BOY, BUY THE KAWASAKI SUPERCHARGED ONE !!!!
DAZ
ha ha - thanks to all of you!!
perhaps next time i should learn how to properly relaunch the kite before heading out into a lagoon flowing out to sea... woops! i think troy's instruction on launching of 'you'll be right' was perhaps not enough info ;)
hope to see you all again this weekend if the wind co-operates - thanks for a fun weekend
