its just like all those guys ripping scabs...however this guy JUST about manages to keep his balance
All I see is someone strugling to recover from jumps without losing his board.
It takes amazing skills and I certainly don't pretend to be better but he could have boosted 3 times bigger and look 10 times smoother if he was wearing straps.
Oh, sorry, it is all about the vibe, the feel!!!!!!!
Another great kiter wobling in the water instead of advancing our sport with some big powerful amazing moves.
I will take Mitu boosting with straps over a 15 foot section prior to landing smoothly on the face anytime (although he also lands some amazing unstrapped superman that I will never be able to do).
Red thumb away, I like the vid and the guy is mighty good but I just wish someone with the necessary skills out there could push the boundaried of strapped surfing.

lol, either I don't speak English or you did not read my post correctly, we are arguing the same point and I fully agree with you.

Personally i love watching guys ripping it up strapless, takes a whole lot of board skill to be busting airs like that. Who cares if it is strapped or not, it was still a great vid to watch and the guy is riding well, how he wants to do it..
To the untrained eye strapped riding does look more coordinated, flowing and aggressive. however for me kiteSURFING is all About "surfing" the wave. You don't see surfers Wearing footbelts assisting their tricks
Is it really mandatory to make a debate on everything?
For sure it is easier with straps, but I think it is just different
What interests me is being able to get my speed from the wave and not the kite, and I still can't.
I like seeing people succeeding in that, that gives motivation.
And it is not something we see everyday
2 different practices, no opposition
