Build Quality: 8/10
Satisfaction: 9/10
Disclosure: (fluid retailer)

The ego is a crossover kite between a C and a Hybrid, basically a C kite with a bridle for de-power.
it has many different settings for turning speed and de-power and also has a pure C kite setting for the adventurous types !
It took me a while to get used to a new type of kite but now I have I really like it, was out yesterday in 22+ and still had it fully powered but was also using it in 15knots, I wasn't breaking any speed records but I could stay upwind and jump, which is great for a 9m.
The kite is very stable and predictable, re-launch's with ease and just sits at the edge of the window if you want a rest or to adjust your footstraps.
it has massive power to jump and huge hang time.
it is very solid in its construction, rip-stop trailing edge, single pump inflation system, simple 4 line set-up with easy to use no fuss de-power strap.
safety connects just above the chicken loop, totally out of the way and has a swivel on the centre lines to untangle after loops etc.
bang for your buck this kite represents great value for money.
