My Comments:

I got my 2012 Money Shot 133cm on Friday thanks to Aidan at Naish and got to try her out on Saturday. I haven't been riding a twin tip all winter as its wave season here in SA (yes we do get waves here!) and found the board really easy to get on with right from the start. The straps are nice this year, easy to adjust and get fitting snug. They grip from the side of the foot rather than squeezing down from the top.

The conditions were marginal and the water was a bit choppy. The board just soaked up these conditions and it offered a comfortable ride. Naish have really stepped up this year with their twin tip range and Ian Ponting and the team have done a fantastic job. The Money Shot looks very similar to the Cab Custom with mulitiple channels, small fins and a chunky construction yet staying pretty light. Saying this, the board grips!!! It grips when you want it to and releases with so much pop that it surprised me so much that for the first 10 mins of the session I felt like I was kiting like a kook.

This wouldn't be the ideal board for putting boots onto but if you wanted one board for freestyle with the option for boots then I see this board suit. If you are a full time boot rider, try the Naish Arcade out.

Overall: I could talk this board up and I'll probably get RED THUMBED for "pimping" my sponsors but if you get the chance to try one, I suggest you take one out for a spin and see for yourself.
