2014 North Nugget Love

5'2 or 5'5 nugget for beginner 80kg ??? (as it seems edge : 5'2 60 - 85kg, 5'5 80plus

Just a heads up - both amazing boards and perform really well in Perth's lack of swell conditions, BUT - there seems to be an inherent weakness in the design/manufacture of the 2014 Nugget. I've seen this on another forum too. Cracks start appearing along the edge just off the front pad. My other Nugget (2012?), ridden just as hard, and obviously much more, has shown none of the same weakness. Pity. In every other respect the board is awesome. And that's a problem in kiting - how do you demo 'structural weaknesses'?

I have to ask, is it from hard landings? They need to beef up their construction a bit if it happening a bit.
