Hi calbs, i use the aviation forecast as a guide. This one indicates a good south westerly from about 1230-1300 local, plus I live near the seacliff beach, and just look out the window and watch for white caps!! Normally, someone is down there when the wind comes in. Seacliff is perfect for learning, especially at low tide, use the area in front of the caravan park.

We had four kites out at Seacliff this arvo. Wasn't terrific, but fully powered up on nines and tens. Wedesday is looking the pick of the week with westerlies forcast. The point at Seacliff is great fun for surfing if the westerlies come in!

Todays wind at West beach.

Well, last three days have just got better and better at seacliff! Today, 25-30kt, good waves and 7m kites, max. Out the back on the reef, somes waves were holding up to 3-4 feet, and really clean. Some pics taken off the phone.
And, Loverboy, was that you on the white Noble kite getting some serious air-time?
