Well it was quite possibly the worst conditions ever at Fort Glanville .... 10 knot wind range, strong current in the wrong direction, no waves, the flat water was too shallow, rain ... but I loved every minute of it.
As I got blown off the water by a squall and took shelter under my board, I couldn't help thinking "this beats the hell out of sitting on the couch eating a pie".
The Parham crew also had a fun day yesterday – from showing off new kites to GPS speed kiting on super flat water at low tide.
Same as Mick, we were also blessed with a decent rain squall that helped us boost the speed averages for the day – with my GPS registering a speed of 72 kms per hour during the squall:
