I'm interested in having a look at Pt P or Thompson's early Saturday evening- gather the tides might be ok. Forecast looks a bit S/easterly.
Does it normally tend to SW at Parham when the seabreeze comes on? Any local pointers about Parham/ Thompsons, & anyone else likely to be there?
Cheers, Brian
Hi Briz, yeah paza goes sw when the seabreeze comes on but if it remains se go to thompsons as it will be cross shore , might be training some people on saturday at paza or thompsons if the wind is ok. cheers
Sorry to hijack the thread. But I’m interested in good landboarding spots around Adelaide. I read somewhere before that Pt Parham is quite the tidal beach which sounds pretty good. In what conditions would it be good to go there? Are there things to think of so I don’t piss off the locals (where to set up, and not to fly and stuff like that)?
Cheers
got the 11m orry out yesterday at pazza, id forgotten how much fun it is to ride the flats again... noticed a few lads out there. probably got to around 15-18 knots.
Nice pics.
Really enjoyed it out there yesterday- great site thanks guys.
Didn't manage to stay upwind all that well- perhaps a combination of tide/ wind strength and my crap kiting skills
See you there again.
Cheers, Brian
It was hard to believe how flat the water was were the weed was really close to the surface. Nice photos
Should be heading back to Pt Parham this Friday around 6:30 if anyone's keen- loved it last weekend despite (because of?) getting thrown 'round a bit.
thats a bummer, yea it was windy on saturday. had a couple of stacks, one hurt like hell, got a bit of weed on my lines aswell,
congrats to timbo for running nearly 42 knot average over 500 meters.
i only managed to get 38 knots on the origin and a bruised set of ribs.
