A reminder that rider briefing is 12noon SHARP tomorrow for kickoff soon after! Don't be late and juniors be pumped up and ready to roll straight after briefing is conditions are good enough.
Great day today crew! See ya tomorrow!
It's looking pretty good out there early on crew. The wind is up around 15kts at Outer Harbour and is showing signs of lifting a little at the airport already (inland). At Semaphore there's already a few knots SW so we're looking prime for a comp today.
Remember the RIDER BRIEFING is 12noon SHARP today. Juniors and Ams, have your gear ready to roll at the end of the briefing. If the wind is up, we'll be pushing the Go button straight away.
Folks, we have a LOT to get through today so please keep an eye on the draw board and be at your heat, ready to go when you're up. We'll do our best to keep you informed, if you have any questions, come see me in the judges/commentary box.
Cheers,
Jordan.

THE WRAP UP
What an amazing weekend ! Great conditions on the Sunday and great competition showcasing some incredible riding.
These events take alot to organise and require alot of support so I want to get some big thankyous out there.
First of all to the sponsors-
Danny James and Blade Kiteboarding- Stoked to see a young lad walk away with a brand new Blade kite board thanks to your generosity, Kevin looked pretty darn happy too !
Bastien and Nobile- harnesses, board bags, sunnies and more- everyone got something good.
Trav Murphy and Elements Kiteboarding school- pimpin playa jackets, t shirts and hats.
Fletch and Onboard- hookin up the goodies from Xcel wetsuits, North/ Ion and Cabrinha
Thanks to these sponsors everyone walked away from the comp with some really cool prizes !
Thanks to Red Bull for hooking up some product and the Tent- it was a popular refuge on Saturday.
A big shout out to the helpers-
Troy "the rock"Robeck- if it needed doing this man got it done....massive effort from regos to draws.
Tim Clark- Judged the whole comp without a break and did a dam fine job of it, cheers Tim !

The rest of the judges- Rhys Gardner, Blake Reichelt, Matt Goodwin, Josh Fletcher, Vicki Parsloe, Brett Wilkinson.
Cheers to all the helpers who gave a hand setting up and packing up as well !
Of course where would we be without such a fantastic venue to hold the comp- thanks to the Grange Sailing Club- Don, Rod, Mick, Trevor the list goes on. We are welcomed and made to feel at home in this fantastic venue and we sincerely thank them for their hospitality.
This year we had 45 competitors and the closest competition I have seen at a State Titles. One of the best events I have been to and I have been to alot. We owe alot this year to the new Comps Director, Jordan Roberts. His efforts to make this comp better showed- the setup was grand, the organisation was good and the event ran really smoothly. big word up to all that showed up to ride, watch and of course help out.
Ive been away from the kiting scene for a while, but its was great to see the willingness to help out, the mateship and of course the sicko riding is still very alive in the SA kite community.
bring on the next comp and the next chance to meet up for a shred again.
