Just wondering if anyone had kited Smokey bay (or maybe streaky bay) or I guess the general area. Heading over to Smokey Bay soon on a fishing trip and wanted to do some kiting. I know there is great wind but just wondering about sharks in the bay. A couple people have said I would be nuts to go swimming (kiting) their. They have the shark cage for a reason I guess.
Thoughts?

Hey Doogs...kited and teached there on the weekend. Def some good waves but for flat spots try Freds shack road , Eba anchorage and Perlubie beach..or Northerly out front of caravan park...not too many sharks in that bay bud! Also have a customer (Zach) who kites Smokey Bay.

The coast has endless possibilities could handle spending every day searching new spots. Here is Back Beach Streaky sharks do cruise the area. Ignore them there well fed.
