I poleboarded there once about 18 years ago, I remember it being shallow and flat water, the wind was gusty but that could have been the day.

It's a great fishing spot though, full of king goerge whiting

Kited there about 2 months ago. Wind was from the south at about 18 knots. The area in front of all the houses looked crap as it was sheltered and gusty so we scabbed a lift with one of the locals and got taken out to the sand island in the middle of the bay in his boat. Absolutely perfect. Clean wind, crystal clear water and dead flat.

Cheers

Looks like another sweet spot to ride, maybe speed runs could be possible if the water was flat enough. What is the normal seabreeze wind direction at venis?
