I was doing well getting through winter with no wind finding other stuff to do until I decided to buy a new kite, now I'm itching more then ever for a bit of wind now. I also bought a mountain board and found out there really isn't that may places to use it south of Brisbane. Oh well I will just keep praying for some good wind to come in on the weekends.

build a wake winch and hit the channels around redcliffe and brisbane. great fun, only cost 2 bucks in fuel and have a lengthy 600 ft run..

How much is one of those worth?

Plenty of boarding stuff to do in winter........... Cable at Sunshine or Beenleigh, take a trip to FNQ, find a mate with a boat or just learn to surf.
