Sandgate Beach clean up

Thanks for all the volunteers who turned up yesterday. The beach is now cleaner than ever! We had families who has nothing to do with our sport but they found our event on FB, or seen our 'Beach clean up sign' and joined in! It was such a great community spirit. You can see the joy on these people's faces, and the pride they now proces. Everytime they come to the beach from now, they will feel they are part of it. Other than a good feed we provided after, all volunteers were given vouchers for a free SUP or kayak hire. Well done people - great Australian spirit!

Thats awesome guys well done. We have been doing the same at Queens beach. Not as much mess as down there but still good to get the general public in with kiters working for the same outcome.
