We had a great photographer there on the day who had been capturing the surfboat carnival until we arrived... and provided some faster moving targets.

Anyway, big thanks to Laki for the unexpected photos. He is a gun for hire and a great guy.

Thanks to Clifton beach for a nice crosshore 18knots and the 1-2ft of swell (which I'm sure looks much bigger in the photos)

amazing what a good photographer can do,
it almost looks like you can actually kite in those photos Voitec.

Well, amazing what you can do with a ladder, a rope, a hose, a wetsuit and some posing. You don't even need an actual kite for my tricks!
