Sat is lining up to be epic wedge, anyone keen? Here is a vid from a small day last year:

I think it was the coldest day of the year - it was sleeting while we were kiting!

Yes very keen, let's line it up, probably mid morning? It's been a long time since a good session.

mid morning sounds good, ill give you a buzz fri night. At this stage they are calling 5-6m south swell with 25 to 30 knots SWer which is pretty much perfect wedge. im excited.

Correct me if I'm wrong but 5-6m of swell is a fair bit!!! Will wedge still work, can we cope? Aaaargh!

the waves should only be a bit overhead. That video above was on a 3-4m swell. Needs to be a solid swell to make it into wedge. It is a very sweet wave when it is on.

Mostly SW Voitek, complete different story if it was all southerly swell!

Awesome. Do you park up the top and walk down? Or at sandpits?

normally walk down from top car park. you could sail down from sandpits but a bit of a slog back upwind at end of session.
Yes sotherly swell is a whole different kettle of fish. Wedge usually packs a bit of a punch for its size too, compared with the other south facing beachies.
