as every second thread on this forum,
it turns out to be lame and discriminating,
dividing a community that needs to get stronger...

There are hundreds of kitesurfers that wish to find information here,
but surely get dissapointed reading the bitter words of some frustrated people,

Taurus, would you have posted your video if one of those boys had fractured his skull on a rock ? probably not...
So if you are a kitesurfer I suggest next time, you act like a kitesurfer too, forget about your chance to win the home funniest video,
Just get out there and tell these guys about the danger they run for the beach goers and themselves, that might preserve your local beach to get banned
of the sport as well as adding more casualties to the list.
Melbkiter, that's not ok, these guys were clearly newbie to the sport and not practicing dangle pass on the sand.

A "Euro" kitesurfer

Scenario playing in my mind was that there was one bloke that was a competent kiter and the others were novice. Between them they had the confidence and arrogance to try it regardless of what I would've said to them.

But yep, I'll cop that beluga. Knew exactly what was gonna happen, yet didn't try to stop it.

Brighton has its share of excitement too...

Was watching a group of 3 euros in todays 20 knot northerly which was fairly gusty at times, the first one survived then the second who clearly has never ever been strapped into a kite or I reckon has ever even flown one has a shot at a 9m on a reasonably crowded beach. It landed within meters of other beach goers.

I found it funny initially and then realized it could've been a very serious situation.
