Whos off to rosie tomorrow. It was honking today .I was on a 5 rebel and later a 7 rebel.Looks great for tomorrow
I can understand the use of smaller kites when wave riding as its just a means of getting out the back mainly but what do you get out of riding a 5m on flat water? i would of thought that the pull for boosting, looping or hang time would be minimal. Most major brand kites these days, under 12m are advertise as very responsive, is a 5 that much more responsive?
i use a 8m Rebel for those extra windy days and i honestly don't get that much of a kick out of riding it.
Last week i was stuck using my 10m in 25+ trade winds (trade winds dont seem to have as much punch as our bay winds) and even though it was a bit of a hand full on the stronger gust it was great fun.
Hanging for monday, 20 knots northerly and a bit warmer
today everyone will be kite out for sure... windy.......... Rya was choppy and lots of wind waves. A wainman white kite a few windsurfers and me. I left at noon.
