Yeah because they are sponsored that means they are invinsible & nothing can go wrong.....
At about 35 secs his board came off & he landed in centimetres of water... speaking from experience here, that **** hurts.
Lacking control in almost every single jump, how old is james these days?

This just gets better! How is it any way sensible to hang an 11 yr old under a kite over an inch of water? Paragliding is done over water for a reason!

Don't get me wrong, been there & kited in some dumb spots myself but watching this just makes me cringe.

Watch 1st vid again, pay attention to....
25sec
35sec ouch!
38sec just made it
44sec just again
48sec not much water there!
50sec crashes & lands on middle of sandbar

hey juggler or are you a jiggler?

Not 1 scratch
No damage to any equipment
The only one to mistakenly touch the bank was murray who is 46.
There is a reason why these kids are so good ! Do you know what it is????
They practice practice practice so they are in control of their equipment. They kite better than 90% of kiters in melbourne. They take calculated risks and the have BALLS to go for it!
Give them a break!!!!!!!! We are trying to create champions not pussys or jigglers.

Oh the Internet gets people fired up doesn't it.
Geez all I was pointing out was that some of those jumps were near misses & that dangling an 11 year old child over sand where if something broke (which is completely out of your control, and does happen) it wouldn't end well.get off your high horse for a second & take it as good advice. Quite allot of have also been kiting for years & also know a thing or two....

I think the point is that there were a lot of near misses and most of the guys don't look like they're comfortably making it. What you may also be missing is that Juggler is actually a damn good kiter. He's also done things like this and many others, massive kiteloops over sandbanks water and he also has some nice pretty metal pins to show for it and trust me when I say he is better than anyone in the video that I saw so his pins weren't a skill issue. Things can and will go wrong, line breaks, accidentally unhooking etc and when they do, serious injuries happen.

Calculated risks are calculated. There was nothing calculated about this. It's just a risk so please don't make it seem like that. I'm not saying don't do it, but don't try pretend it's a calculated risk because looking at the skill level here and the amount of misses, it's not that calculated. It's a bunch of guys jumping a bank and making it part of the time. Calculated is where you clear it by 4 metres on either side every time because you know you're going to make it, not you hope you make it. Calculated is where you learn it by doing it over a sandbank and you're landing in a deep channel because you know that if something goes wrong you're landing in deep water.

On the issue of the towing, Juggler is right. This is not a good idea. There have been many injuries, some with professional riders due to this. We're not talking broken bones, we're talking paralysis. If a kite line snaps (and they do), you're coming down quickly because you're being pulled down. Do some searches for videos and you'll see some where things have gone horribly wrong with top riders.

Love it.....

Don't worry about the safety first **** who rant on these forums.

Life is all about having fun......(without being at the expense of anybody else).

might try kite looping it once we have the afternoon tides back.

I'd love to set up storm pipe or similar as a slider, something that won't do too much damage to board.

I wish My body could bounce back from failed trick attempts as fast as these young guns,,

I've seen a few stacks that would prob be session ending for me,, but they just try again very next tack....

Keep it up, look forward to following your progress into the future.

Safety first!
Always responsible for my actions!
