^^^^^ considering it is going to be a northerly both inverloch and sandy point will be super gusty if even ridable...

If you are at phillip island head to Cat Bay, Flynns reef area if you want some waves ( needs to be a reasonable swell ) or there are a few spots ( some secret ) closer to San Remo and Cowes Rhyll etc.. Just keep an eye out for the lurkers
........ if you want butter flat water head to Rosebud.

Has anyone kited Sandy Point on a Nrthly? I would be keen to know if its OK and if not where to go in the local area.

BTW. For Phillip Island on a NW, Ventnor is good. Look for Devon Ave. Anywhere further north on the Island is too choppy. You want to be fairly confident if you kiting these spots alone.
I have also done Coronet Bay which is off the Island, good place to setup with plenty of space and safe.

Sandy is good in the northerly. You can run along the channel.
Check the tides! cs

I'm a regular at sandy point- if it's dead north it's doable-if it is NNW those it turns pretty bad- you can end up inthe drink with a way to swim in. Give me a PM if you want to kite this weekend at inverloch or sandy point... I'll be round both days
