i am new to the sport of Kitesurfing and have very limited use of my feet due to nerve prob, so i am trying to find the lightest board on the market, also can someone help me with what is the best kite or gear to buy, i have read so many different things about the different brands. Thank you all for even reading this and thank you for helping me.
Not sure about the lightest board but the easiest and simplest kite to use in the market is the Peter Lynne Venom 2. No pumping as it is a twinskin and it has a brilliant auto-zenith feature that means you will never put it in the water. Auto zenith is where you let go of the bar and the kite instantly starts to rise to its zenith at 12 O'Clock. If you do put it in the water it is very simple to relaunch once you know how!
Good luck. If you end up wanting a Peter Lynn Venom 2 just go to the 'buy/sell' on Seabreeze.
You've opened up a can of worms there philip hehe
And you just happen to have one for sale in the buy/sell, well fancy that what a coincidence haha classic pimp hard mate.
I would never buy a Venom lucky so don't just rush into what everyone is pedaling at the time.
I remember you posting this thread up a while back on this subject didn't you?
Personally I would recommend a recent model second hand Bow style kite maybe one season old with 100% depower system.
Which I think you were advised on last time?
As for boards I know the slingshot misfit was a real light board but I haven't ridden one since '06 but it was a great board and quick although better suited for flat water than wave and chop.
Oh yea I'm not trying to sell anything either mate lol
Also on the issue with your feet mate you might want to look at these foot pads(I didn't like them on test myself)but it might serve your purpose lucky.....
