Thumbs Up

Tim, Ben and Paul together with Pat and Dave caught the Kosciuszko Express chairlift to the top of Thredbo and then launched our kites just beyond the footbridge below Karels T-bar. A 10-12 knot SE breeze was blowing. pat and Tim took the lead making a bee-line for Kos. 25 minutes later we arrive at the top of Mt Kosciuszko. Just as we got there the breeze picked up a tad, which caught Paul of guard and so he dropped his 6M Samurai foil kite, having been dragged over the top of the summit heading for Victoria. The kite lines got snagged on a small rock when Paul pulled the brake lines so the kite still wanted to visit Victoria. Fortunately, Tim saw Paul's problem and came over and rescued Paul's kite. We all packed up our kites and shimmied down the face of Kos to Seaman's Hut. Tim went further west before joining us at Seaman's before heading off to the top of Charlottes Pass. IN the meantime, Ben and Paul re-launched their kites and headed back to the top of Thredbo. Tim joined us later and then we skied down to Thredbo Valley. Meanwhile Pat and Dave went even further west to the never never!

An awesome day!!!!

Paul
