At this early stage it looks likely that we will get a southerly change around 11am but below 10 knts for Sundays event at Balnarring Beach.
The wind forecast is no good and 80% chance of showers at Balnarring will not be conducive to holding the event on Sunday, that said if you have done all your Xmas shopping and prepping and would like to Blokart I will be heading out to the new venue today at 12 midday as we have a forecast of 15 knt easterly, not sure of the new venue address send me a SMS and I will let you know.

And the last event for 2013 will be at Sandy Point Waratah Bay on the December 29th meeting at 12 noon opp cafe low tide around 2.40pm for some short course racing and social sailing all newcomers and novices very welcome, alternative venue at Shallow Inlet depending on amount of beach traffic.
Wow Wee what a ride 3metre sails two pieces of carbon and still struggled to hold it flat on the wide hard shores of Waratah Bay,several trips down to the point and back interspersed with some round the can short course races saw some spectacular spin outs and capsizes if you didn't get the gybe mark approach correct one of those days that you don't want to finish, great to see newcomer Eric out although a little overpowered with a 4m rig battling the elements, also Sudsy looking fighting fit after shoulder surgery ready to do battle again and lovely to see Ray Brett out flying along although a little apprehensive at first until his confidence slowly returned, thanks to all that turned out to make sure the last event for 2013 went with a BANG.
Time to start the clean and pack in preparation for Nationals and Worlds over in WA and for those members not travelling safe and enjoyable Blokarting for 2014.
