^^^ Ditto. Just love the look of that beach.

Looks like you have a fair bit of draught (curvature, belly) in that sail Hiko.

Yeah! Hiko is that a west coast beach?? I don't recollect seeing them that wide on the east coast?? Mind you the sand doesn't look as black as it did 30 years ago or is that just a trick of memory. Kariotahi Beach is the one I spent most of my time flying.

East coast beach Ohope eastern Bay of Plenty Not as wide as it is sometimes in those pics It had a deep gutter on the outer edge that you can see in the photos on that weekend Ohope is 5mins from Clemco`s front door and then he has another one Ohiwa which is even wider 30-40 minutes away He does it tough!
That sail does look full in those photos I had only just hit the beach on a blustery day Thats my excuse anyway I`ll run with that

Ohope Beach? It is a wide one for the east coast. I only passed through there on a trip. Spent most of my time up on the northern part as that is where my wife used to live . You aren'' all that far from a good mate of mine. Tauranga, only just up the road from there.
You're right. Clemco does it tough------------Spoiled Sod.
